I’m Rick, I’ve been working out and participating at NeuAbility since August 2018. I am a Craig Hospital peer mentor and volunteer and also a NeuAbility ambassador and board member. I am married with three children and six grandchildren, all born and raised in Colorado. My family has been in Colorado since 1985. I love Colorado and love NeuAbility. I am a big supporter of the wheelchair community here locally and abroad. It’s a very unique community full of interesting and spectacular people. Prior to my injury I was a trained athlete, long term distance bike rider, avid slalom skier, third-degree black belt, weekly golfer, and family man. After my injury, I am still a family man and now a workout junkie.
