What Is Adaptive Exercise at NeuAbility?

Adaptive Exercise Sessions are tailored to your exact needs and goals and are focused solely on long-term health and wellness. Our trainers use moment-to-moment judgments grounded in deep familiarity with the individual client’s body, tone, fatigue, and capacity. Adaptive exercise functions as a person-centered practice grounded in teamwork, responsiveness, and mutual calibration. The outcome is not only physical capability, but the development of agency, trust, and embodied understanding on both the trainer’s and trainee’s side.

How Adaptive Exercise Works: What to Expect in Denver

Your Adaptive Exercise journey starts with a warm welcome at our Denver facility. During your Initial Evaluation ($30), we’ll sit down for a friendly conversation about your goals—maybe it’s lifting a grocery bag again, feeling steadier in your chair, or just moving with more ease. Then, our Adaptive Exercise Specialists design a plan just for you, using tools like adapted weight machines, resistance bands, and hand cycles.

Every session—whether it’s a One-Hour Session ($85), 90-Minute Session ($125), or a 10 Pack of One-Hour Sessions ($800)—is tailored to your pace and needs.

Here’s the best part: every Adaptive Exercise session includes a free FES bike ride, where gentle electrical pulses help activate your muscles, boosting circulation and strength. It’s like giving your body a bonus tune-up while you work out. Caregivers are welcome to join, learn, or cheer you on. In our gym-like space, you’ll feel the buzz of possibility, not the chill of a clinic, as you take each step toward progress. Whether you’re from Boulder or Littleton, our Denver team is here to support you every rep of the way.
