Hi my name is Nick, I was born in Denver but grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. I was injured in November of 2009 in a training accident related to my fighting career. I am now a C6/7 quad, but I haven’t let that slow me down as I am the founder of the Denver Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby team and am also the coach and I get to see some play time myself. In my spare time I also like to experiment with smoking different BBQ foods and I like to watch combat sports. I chose to be involved with NeuAbility because of the great community they founded and having a space to call my own and foster new relationships in and outside of the gym.
