TJ Maynes was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Metropolitan State University with his Bachelor’s of Science Degree with a concentration in healthcare. TJ had the opportunity to intern here at NeuAbility in 2024 and never looked back as he was hired on as an Adaptive Exercise Specialist. TJ is now one of the Program Supervisors and the Internship Coordinator.

TJ always knew that he wanted to help people. His passion for that has led him to a place where he strives to continue the overall life-long wellness of the paralysis population. His experience in healthcare, strength and conditioning has made him well-versed in improving the quality of life of others.
