Austin Wheatley is a CO transplant from South Texas. His education includes an undergraduate degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Austin interned at Morgan’s Wonderland, an organization in San Antonio, Texas focusing on accessibility and inclusion. Having hosted practices for wheelchair sports, visual impairment sports, and inclusion sports, this is where Austin found a passion for adapted and para-sports. Additionally, he has worked in Parks and Recreation and knows the value of community connection and competition participation.

Austin’s professional goal are to increase the adapted team sport and parasport opportunities here in Colorado and create a stronger resource network for adapted sport and parasport athletes.
